"Nicki you can do this" Safaree pleaded.
"I cant... Like how am I gonna have MY DADS BABY"
"Nicki I told you we're gonna do this. Dont worry I am here for you every step of the way."


Months Later...APRIL

Nicki was now huge and never left the house.. Her mom never saw her because she "worked too much"
No one knew about the baby except Safaree and Nicki's close friends. Only few people knew the truth..
Safaree had to help her do everything.. Get dressed, put on shoes, take showers, everything. He didnt care. He loved her so much and accepted this baby to be his. He knew that DNA wise it wasnt his but he was going to father the baby so in one way it was his. They had been to a lot of doctors appointments and now Nicki was going to one every week since it was getting so close. Nicki was ready for the baby. She got over the fact that it was her fathers and she loved her baby very much. He was very active and was always kicking. She couldnt wait for him to get here so she could dress him up and show him off. He was already her little man.

"Hey baby" Safaree said coming into the room.

"Hey" She said almost whining.

"Whats wrong Nicki?" He said getting on his knees next to the bed.

"Nothing my stomach and back just hurt really really bad." Nicki cried.

"Well what do we do? Do you need to go to the hospital?" Safaree asked.

"No not yet but I am going to take a bath and you call the doctor."

"Ok."

Nicki got up and ran her bath water while Safaree grabbed his phone and called the doctor. She got some sweat pants and a T shirt out because she had a feeling she would be making a trip to the hospital just to make sure everything was ok.

Safaree came in and spoke.

"Nic the doctor said you need to go to labor and delivery to make sure you're not going into labor."
"I knew that was coming" She mumbled.
"Ok well get I'll get all the stuff ready. Take your time."

Really Safaree wasnt nervous at all. He was spazzing. He couldnt wait to see Nicki have her baby and be a mom. Yeah they were young and had their flaws but Safaree would do anything he had to do to support them. He was ready to be a dad and a great boyfriend. He grabbed everything he thought they needed. Carseat first. Then blankets, diaper bag, binkies, outfits, bottles, diapers, wipes, powder, socks, mittens...ect. He wanted to be prepared. He went in Nicki's room and grabbed 3 outfits and 5 pairs of underwear (he knew that after the baby she would be bleeding and she hated to feel dirty so he brought extra) He felt like he was ready.

"Baby I am ready. I really think its time. My stomach is cramping up." Nicki said clenching.
"Ok baby, well I put everything in the car already and its all good to go.
"Lets go"

They both got into the car and Nicki was getting nervous. Safaree read her like a book so he rubbed her belly. Its gonna be ok Nicki dont worry. They named their baby Nicholas Lloyd Samuels.
Safaree was so ready. They pulled up to the hospital and checked in. They took her straight to labor and delivery. She layed in the bed and the doctor told her she had to start pushing in 20 minutes. This was the longest 20 minutes of her life. Safaree was sweating a little because he was nervous now but he kept composure for Nicki.

"Ok Ms.Maraj we see you are 10 cm dialated so we are ready, how are you feeling?"
"Horrible.. I just want to get it over with. I am so glad I got the epidural because I dont think I could have taken it."
"Ok Sir, we are going to have you stand here and hold one of her legs ok."
"Ok."

By this point Safaree was freaking out. He wanted to hold Nicki's hand and reassure her but he was now holding her leg looking at where the baby would be coming out.

"Ok give us a big push mama."
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,...10. Breathe."
"UGHHHHHHH" Nicki screamed.
"OMGGGGGG THIS IS SO HORRIBLE." She yelled.
"Another push, you can do it.
"AHHHHHHHHHH"


10 Minutes went by and it was almost over.

"NICKI OMG BABE I SEE HIS HEAD!!!! HE HAS A LOT OF HAIR OMG PUSH PUSH PUSH!"

Nicki gave another push and the head was out. The doctor grabbed the baby and pulled him out. He was so little. He was light and had a lot of hair. Nicki saw him when the doctor picked him up. She immediately started crying. He was so beautiful. Safaree cut the cord and they took the baby to the back.

They were suctioning the snot and blood out of his nose and throat when they noticed his heart rate dropped severely. They hooked him up to machines and gave him oxygen. They didnt know what had happened. Sometimes babies get excited or dont know how to react when they get to the real world. Thats what they thought. They wrapped him up and brought him to Nicki and Safaree.

"Omg Nicki he is so handsome. He looks just like you." Safaree said.
"Hi Nicholas, you are so beautiful...mamas baby." She said as she kissed him

"Umm Ms. Maraj, we have to take Nicholas back for some testing. There seems to be a problem with his heart."

"WHAT?" Nicki Screamed.
"Calm down ma'am. He is going to be fine we jus have to run some tests." With that they took Nicholas.

"Omg Safaree what could be wrong??" "Its my fault he is sick."
"No Nicki.. Stop. Just wait until they find out."
"Safaree go with them please."
"Ok baby I love you." He kissed her forehead and walked out.

Nicki was in a panic.. She was scared and crying.


IN THE BABIES WARD

Safaree ran to see where Nicholas was... He heard a baby cry and thought he recognized it. He stopped and opened the door.

"Sir you cant be in here"
"Thats my son. I want to know whats going on."
"We are running tests but it is steril in here you have to stand outside and wait."
"He went outside and looked in the window."

He heard a loud beep and saw that the doctors seemed stressed. He tried to open the door to see what was going on but the doctor had locked it. He looked and saw Nicki's son laying lifeless on the metal table. He started to panic and scream.

"LET ME IN THIS FUCKING ROOM. WHAT HAVE U DONE TO MY SON? LET ME IN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed.

Nicki heard him and started to panic. She unhooked all her machines and got up. She was in soo much pain but had to find out where Safaree was. As soon as she stepped out, the nurse ran to her and took her back to her bed.

"Ma'am you cannot be up walking around. We will be in here shortly." She left the room.

"LET ME IN RIGHT NOW." He screamed
"PLEASE LET ME SEE MY SON!"
