Time to man up.

NICKI POV



Nicki put her phone on the charger and sat down on the couch. She was so scared. She knew Safaree would be so mad. He would probably leave her. She would have to move in with Lauren or Candice. She started crying. She picked up the phone and called Lauren because she needed reassurance.



SAFAREE POV


She said she didnt cheat on me so I believe her.  I love her so much and she loves me so why would she lie? I just gotta find out what happened because NO ONE will mess with my baby.....



Safaree pulled up to CVS. If she thought she was pregnant he sure would help her find out. If she wasnt pregnant he wanted to find out why she was sick.

"Um Sir, Excuse me?" Safaree asked.

"Yes sir, how may I help you?" The worker replied.

"Can you show me where you're pregnancy tests are, and show me the best one please?"


Most guys would be too prideful and too embarassed to go shopping for female products but Safaree wasnt. He didnt care. He loved Nicki so much and would buy anything for her. He would cross the ocean and come back for her. Thats how he felt.

The man picked up a pregnancy test in a pink box and it had 2 tests in it. It was 35.99$.

"I'll take it." Safaree said.

He handed the man $40 and said keep the change and left.

He got back in the car and sped home to his baby. When he got out he grabbed the tests and took a deep breath. He went inside.


"Nicki?" He said looking for her.

"In here Safaree." She yelled from the living room.

"Hey baby are you ok?" He said sitting on the couch next to her holding her.

"Safaree dont be all nice ok, I know you're mad. Let me just get this off my chest."

"Baby I am not mad. Just tell me what happened. I love you."

"Ok.. Well the night I had left to come here. Something had happened to me. I had just came in from work and went in my room. I was so tired..."

She stopped because she was crying. Safaree grabbed her and held her. Then he spoke.

"Tell me what happened. I'm here. No one is ever going to hurt you again."

"Well when I layed down to go to sleep... My dad came in.. He got into my bed.....Then he raped me."

"HE DID WHAT?!" SB jumped up off the couch.

"NICKI HE FUCKING RAPED YOU?! I AM GOING TO KILL THIS MOTHER FUCKER RIGHT NOW."

Nicki got up and grabbed him.

"No baby please calm down. Please. For me?"

When he heard her say that his anger went down a little. He grabbed her and pulled her into a hug and then he spoke calmly.

"Nicki, on the way home I got you some pregnancy tests. The best ones I could find. I want you to take them and I am going to take you to the doctor. What do you want to do?"

"SB I know I never believed in this and this will sound crazy coming from me, but.. I dont want anyone to find out. Only you, Lauren, and Candice know. If I am pregnant I dont want it.."

"Ok I understand.. If any thought in your mind ever comes up that you do want to keep it, just know I would never leave you and I would be here every step of the way for you and your baby. No one would ever have to know who's baby it is Nicki."

"Thank you Faree. I love you so much." She sobbed on his chest.


By the time she got all her crying out his shirt was soaked. She lifted her head up and told Safaree she was ready to take the tests. They went in the bathroom and opened them. Safaree stood outside the door to give her privacy. She just stared at the stick.

"Um Safaree?" She called.

"Yes baby?" He said through the door.

"Can you come in here please? I really dont want to do this alone." She said almost crying.

He opened the door and walked in.

"Dont ever think you are alone and dont ever be scared to ask me to do something for you. I will never tell you no and I will never make you feel dumb or feel like you shouldnt have asked me. Everything I do, I do for you. I love you." With that he kissed her forehead.

4 Minutes Later.

Nicki walked back into the bathroom and picked up both tests.. She screamed. They both said +.
She was so upset. Safaree walked in and grabbed her. She almost collapsed. He picked her up and took her to the bed. He sat her down and he got on his knees next to her.

"We can do this Nicki. You can get through this. You are strong and I am strong. Together we can do it."

"Safaree, I just want to say I love you. I appriciate you for everything. I know we've only known each other for 2 years but you have never left me. No matter what happened you always cared for me. You always loved me and stood by me. You were honest to me and always told me what you thought. I have never met any one as real as you. I will love you forever."

"I love you too Nicki."

Nicki leaned back in the bed because she was emotionally drained. Safaree took off his pants and shirt and got in the bed. He stayed on his side because he wanted to give her space.

"Safaree"

"Yes Nicki?"

"Hold me please."

He scooted over to her and wrapped his arms around her. He loved her so much. The way their bodies fit perfectly together. He put his hand under her shirt and rubbed her stomach. It wasnt flat anymore. It pudged out and was hard. He thought she was in pain from it so he continued to rub it.

"Safaree?"
"Yes?"
"Why are u rubbing my stomach?"
"Oh.. I'm sorry Nicki." He stopped.
"No I like it. I just want to know why."
"Because you have been throwing up and having stomach cramps. I thought maybe you could feel better if I rubbed it."

She turned to face him and their lips met. He never noticed before but her stomach actually stuck out enough to where he could fill it on his stomach while they were kissing. He broke the kiss.

"Nicki, how long ago was this.. Like how far along are you?"
"Probably 4 or 5 months."
"OMG Nicki..."
"What??"
"You know once you get 5 months you cant have an abortion."
"You cant?!"
"No!"
"Oh my.. What are we gonna do Safaree?"
"We'll figure it out baby. You have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Remember what I said Ok? No matter what happens I will still be here to support you. With or without your baby."
"Ok Safaree...Thank you. That means a lot." She said smiling.

They fell asleep.


NEXT DAY.

Nicki jumped up out of bed as soon as she woke up. She was soooo ready for her doctors appointment. The sooner she could get rid of this problem, the sooner she could go back to work, get money, and continue working on music. She was kind of excited in a way,

"Good morning baby." Safaree said
"Good Morning." She said frowning seeing that he was already dressed.
"Dont be mad but I wanted you to get your sleep because this is a pretty big appointment. I want you to just put your hair up and throw on some sweat pants. Our appointment is in 35 mins."

She ran to her room and saw that Safaree already layed her stuff out. She smiled because she loved him so much. She threw on her clothes and they were off to the doctor.


"Onika Maraj." The nurse called out.
"Thats me" Nicki said.

She grabbed her purse and grabbed Safarees hand and went to the back. The nurse took her height, weight, bloodpressure, temperature..ect. When she was done she left and Nicki waited for the doctor. Her and Safaree didnt really say anything cuz they were both really nervous. Just then the doctor walked in.

"How are you Ms.Maraj?" The doctor asked.
"I am good thank you."
"So I understand you are here for a ultrasound and possible abortion?" The doctor asked to make sure.
"Yes Ma'am that would be it."
"Ok lets get started"

The doctor pulled up Nicki's shirt and hoodie to see her baby bump. She poured the blue jelly on her stomach and started the ultrasound. Nicki looked up at the screen and saw a baby. She started to tear up.

"Ok. I have good news and I have bad news."
"Oh my god... Ok go ahead."
"The good news is your baby is happy and healthy inside of you.....The bad news is you are 5 and a half months pregnant and legally we can not give you an abortion."

Nicki's mouth fell open and she looked at Safaree. He stood up.

"Doc can we please have a moment alone?"
"Sure thing Sir. Actually when you are done you can go ahead and leave unless that will be all for you today."
"Wait..." Safaree said.
"There is something else I want to know." He continued speaking.
"Ok what can I do for you sir?"

Safaree knew doing this wouldnt be easy but he knew Nicki wasnt in her right mind and he wanted to be as prepared as possible. Nicki was his life. And now the baby inside of her was his life too. He already made up his mind.

"Um can we find out the sex of the baby and get a possible due date?"
"Of course."

She pulled out the ultrasound again.

"Ok.... hmmm... Looks like you are having a little boy. Congratulations. The due date is May 1st."
" Ok Ma'am thank you. I appriciate everything you did today."


The doctor left.

"Come on Nicki we have to go home. Get yourself together. We will talk in the car."

He helped her up and held her hand all the way to the car. They got in. The first 5 minutes of the car ride was silent.

"Safaree I dont think I can do this.'' ................................................
