Here it goes....

She got scared and stopped talking.

"What? What is it Nicki? Tell me baby." SB pleaded.

"*Sigh* Because I only feel safe with you... I know that's dumb but I been wanting to tell you that" She lied.

"Aww baby I love you so much. I thought u were gonna give me bad news. I was nervous." He replied,

"Nooo of course not, I never want to disappoint you."

"Haha OK, You know tomorrow I am taking you to get you're phone put in my name and we can change all your school info to my mom if you want."

"OK sounds good cuz my parents are gonna flip!! My dad will come here looking for me." She said sounding nervous.

"Well everyday when we get outta school I am gonna take you to my sisters house and  I wont come get you until late. That way if he comes to my house I can act like I  haven't seen you."

"OK. As long as you're confident I am too!" She smiled.

With that they got out of the car and went inside.. Nicki was already in her pajamas so she kissed SB and went to her room and laid down. She turned on the TV but she kept having flash backs. The whole thing kept replaying in her head, She didn't want to do this but she did... She got up and walked down the hall to SB's room. She knocked on the door because she didn't know if he was naked or not.. He didn't answer. She peeped in the door and he was already asleep. She went in the room and creeped up to the bed. SB felt movement and opened his eyes.

"Nicki whats wrong?!?" He jumped up.

"No No Nothing is wrong! Don't panic..." She said.

He went over to her and grabbed her hands.

"Well whats wrong then?" He asked.

"Its just that, I ran away and now I am in a new place, in a room by myself... I cant sleep."

"Oh, you want me to stay up with you? I will. What you want to do? Watch TV?" He asked.

"Actually no its something else..." She said nervously.

"Oh, u want to go home?"  He sounded hurt and sad.

"NO! I just.... I want to sleep in your bed with you." She blurted.

"Oh." was all he could manage to say. He was so shocked.

"Sure baby of course, come on." He said.


She got into the bed and pulled the covers up. She had to get sleep because she had to go to school tomorrow. She closed her eyes and shivered.

"Um Safaree..." She said

"Yes baby?"

"Can you hold me? I want to feel that you are there. Protect me Safaree."


He moved her closer to him and wrapped his arm around her. They were facing each other. She put her head in his neck. She had never felt like this before. She felt safe. Like no one could take her or hurt her.. She loved him so much and hoped nothing ever broke them apart.




Safaree POV

He loved her so much and this moment was so surreal. He loved it. He had always wanted to protect her but since she was so independent she never let him. But today she ASKED him to protect her. He was in shock. He was thinking how he would never ever let anyone hurt her even if he had to kill someone.



NEXT DAY.

Nicki rolled over and looked at the clock 6:08am. She looked over and Safaree was still holding her and sleeping. She smiled at him. She slid from under his arm to get out of bed. He felt her get up but he didn't move. He didn't want to wake up and make her feel bad. She went into her room and looked in her closet for an outfit... Damn.. She thought. He really knew how to shop for her.. She went into the bathroom to take a shower. She dropped all her clothes on the floor and hopped in. When she got out, the mirror was all fogged up and it was hot. So she grabbed her dirty clothes and ran out. She went in her room and lotioned up and got dressed. It was now 7:30 so she was ready to go. Safaree was a senior so he didn't go to school until 10. She went in the room to kiss him goodbye but he spoke when she came in.

"Good morning baby, you look good. I'm gonna take you to school so no one sees you."

"OK. I am ready now if that OK with you." She said.

"Of course!! Lets go."



Safaree was driving home. He planned on not going to school because he wanted to be able to get to Nicki if something happened. He also was gonna get her phone switched over and fix her room up some more. Right now tho he wanted to go back to sleep. He walked in the house and pulled the covers back to get in..

"What the fuck..." He said out loud.

There was a big spot of blood on the bed. He didn't know what to think...

"Probably her period" He mumbled..


He changed the sheets and went back to sleep.



3 MONTHS LATER


It was now Christmas break at school and she was headed back to Safaree's. Things with her had calmed down. Her mom knew where she was living and accepted the fact that her daughter was "rebelling" and wasn't coming home. She never visited her mother or father. She told her mother she was sick of her fathers drinking and sick of him beating on the both of them so until she left him she would continue to live with Safaree. Nicki was now 18 and she loved it! She went out to clubs and could do what she wanted. Her and Safaree had done about 6 shows at some New York clubs since she moved out. She had some fans but she felt like she wasn't going to make it. Her and Safaree were getting along so good and they loved each other so much. Lauren, Candi, and Safaree's friends the Vakies always came over to kick it. Nicki was loving life!



Nicki used her key and walked in. She mostly always got home before Safaree and as soon as he was on his way home she would be leaving to work. She worked at Red Lobster and he worked at Lady Footlocker. She would leave him little notes because she knew he missed her while she was gone and wouldn't see her until like 11 at night. She worked 4-10 on the weekdays. He worked 9-3.


She went into her room and got her uniform ready. She wasn't really feeling well. She had a headache all day and felt sick to her stomach. She went to the kitchen and got a water out of the fridge. She went and put on her uniform and touched up her makeup. She had like 10 mins before she had to leave. Her stomach started feeling really bad and she got up and went to the bathroom. When she got in there she threw up everything. She felt terrible. "Ughhhhh" She thought. "I hate stomach flu's!" She picked up her phone and dialed...

"Red Lobster TT speaking, how may I help you today."

"Hey TT, its Nicki. I am really not feeling well. I am sorry I'm just now calling but I was in school and I didn't know I was this sick."

"You're good Nic. U never call in and you always work hard. Don't worry about it."

"Thanks TT."

"Alright Nic see u tomorrow."

"Bye."

"Bye."


She laid her phone down and got in the bed. She had the trash can right by her just in case. She quickly fell asleep.

Safaree walked in wondering why her car was still in the driveway. He ran up to her room and didn't see her. He walked in his room and saw her in his bed. He saw the trash can and thought Oh no she must be sick. I'll let her rest. He kissed her forehead and went downstairs.


3 DAYS LATER

Nicki: No Lauren, I'm serious... I think I am pregnant.
Lauren: I cant believe this... AND I cant believe you didn't tell me all this shit that happened. You need to tell Safaree.
Nicki: No omg he will be so pissed that I didn't tell him sooner.
Lauren: He needs to know Nicki... What are you going to do?
Nicki: I don't know but I am getting in the shower. BBL


Nicki put her phone on the bed and got in the shower. Safaree was still in bed watching TV. Nicki's phone went off and he looked to see what it said.

Lauren: Ok talk to you later. But you really need to tell Safaree. Love you.

Safaree scrolled up and saw the rest of the messages.

"Is she cheating on me and pregnant with another persons baby? omg."


He got up, got dressed and left to go on a drive.

Nicki got out the shower looking for him. She called him several times with no answer.. She started to get worried until she heard his ringtone.

Baby: Our you cheating on me Nicki?
My Love: WHAT?!?! HELL NO. Why would you say that?
Baby: I saw ur text messages to Lauren. Please tell me whats going on Nicki. I am so hurt.
My Love: Come home... Its a long story and this is going to take a lot out of me. I am not cheating baby. I love you.
Baby: I love you too. See you in 10.......
